By using balford.net you accept these terms. You may read, download and print pages for your own business evaluation. You may not scrape the site at scale, attempt to break its security, or reuse its content as your own.
3. Quotes, estimates and our online tools
Our online estimator, DFM and drawing-analysis tools produce an indicative engineering estimate, not an offer. Every figure depends on the drawing, the material, the quantity and the tolerance that you supply, and is subject to our review. A price becomes binding only when we issue a written quotation and you place a purchase order against it. We may decline any enquiry, and we may re-quote if the drawing or specification changes.
4. Your drawings and your intellectual property
Drawings, models and specifications you send remain yours. We use them only to evaluate feasibility, quote, and — if you order — to manufacture your parts. We do not sell, publish or share them, and we do not use them for anyone else's production. Tooling, fixtures and process know-how we develop remain our property unless the purchase order says otherwise.
5. Confidentiality
We treat customer drawings and technical data as confidential. If you need a signed non-disclosure agreement before sending files, ask us and we will provide one.
6. Content on this site
Technical articles, guides and capability pages are provided for general information. They describe what we can do, not a guarantee for a specific part. Third-party links are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
7. Limitation of liability
We keep this site available and accurate to the best of our ability, but it is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or reliance on an indicative estimate. Liability for goods we supply is governed by the contract of sale for those goods.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, and the courts at our registered address have jurisdiction over any dispute.
