FAQ

What materials are used for solenoid valve housings?

Commonly stainless steel, low-carbon steel and brass, selected by application (corrosion, magnetic circuit, pressure). Balford reviews material grade with you before tooling.

Can you hold concentricity on deep-drawn housings?

Yes — wall-thickness, concentricity and dimensional repeatability are controlled through tooling design and in-process inspection on the deep drawing line.

Do you provide samples before production?

Yes. Sample parts are produced from prototype or production tooling and submitted with inspection reports for approval before mass production.
