This is a semi-finished housing with a machined inner diameter. It's produced on a progressive die stamping line, so all critical dimensions stay consistent across the run, and the surface comes out clean—no scratches or die marks.
Case Review
The original design comes from Siemens and is used by Continental, with applications similar to Ford's full lineup and Komatsu excavator solenoid valve housings. The solenoid valve housing material is DC04 mild steel, deep drawn, then put through coercivity removal and electroplating.
