Gross weight is the weight of the raw material before machining or fabrication — the stock you actually order and cut. Net weight subtracts holes, cutouts and machined features. For quoting and shipping, always start from the gross weight and add a small scrap allowance.

Every dimension input accepts mm, cm, m and inches, and results are shown in both kilograms and pounds. Just pick the unit next to each field and the calculator converts everything for you.
