Micro Claw Pole for PM Motor
A claw pole permanent magnet stepper motor converts electrical pulses into precise angular displacement. It uses a claw pole stator and rotor assembly, driven by an external circuit to execute the required motion. The rotor is a magnetic ring with alternating N and S poles; the stator is stamped from soft magnetic material.

Case Review
A small stepper motor uses four pole claws, each stamped from SECC material in a continuous progressive die. The critical requirement here is the perpendicularity of the inner hole relative to the claw piece—this drives the tooling design and process control.
