Balford has published a sourcing and export information page that names the three companies behind an export order and gives the account details a buyer needs before paying. The page states that Zhejiang Balford Mechatronics Co., Ltd. in Zhuji, Zhejiang manufactures the parts; Zhejiang Howsince International Logistics Co., Ltd. (NVOCC No. 12935) books the shipment and lodges the export customs declaration; and Zhejiang International Business Group Wuliu Co., Ltd. collects the payment. It publishes the beneficiary bank (Bank of China, Hangzhou Zhongda sub-branch, SWIFT BKCHCNBJ910), the trade terms quoted — FOB Ningbo, FOB Shanghai, CIF, EXW, DAP and DDP — and the payment terms offered: advance T/T, or open account 30–60 day terms and 30–60 day terms for qualified customers.
Suppliers normally leave that structure implicit. A buyer sees one company on the quotation, a different beneficiary name on the proforma invoice and a third name on the bill of lading, with nothing on the paperwork explaining which is which. The page sets out what each company does, so the three names can be checked against each other before the first payment rather than after it.
Who manufactures your parts, who ships them, and who receives the payment?
Three companies, three fixed roles. Zhejiang Balford Mechatronics Co., Ltd. manufactures the parts and carries the manufacturing and quality responsibility — quoting, tooling, stamping, deep drawing, inspection and packing at the Zhuji plant. Zhejiang Howsince International Logistics Co., Ltd., a licensed first-class freight forwarder and NVOCC (certificate No. 12935) based in Hangzhou, books the space, lodges the export customs declaration and prepares the bill of lading and the rest of the shipping documents. Zhejiang International Business Group Wuliu Co., Ltd., a licensed foreign-trade operator in Hangzhou, holds the export contract and collects the foreign-currency payment, which is why that company rather than the factory appears on the beneficiary line. Technical correspondence, drawings, inspection reports and quality documents come from Zhejiang Balford Mechatronics Co., Ltd.; shipping is arranged directly between the buyer and Howsince. Balford publishes the beneficiary bank, the account number and the SWIFT code so a buyer can verify the account through a channel that already existed before the invoice arrived.
- Manufacturer: Zhejiang Balford Mechatronics Co., Ltd., Zhuji, Zhejiang — holds the manufacturing and quality responsibility
- Freight forwarder: Zhejiang Howsince International Logistics Co., Ltd. (NVOCC No. 12935) — books the shipment, declares the export, issues the bill of lading; does not price parts and never collects payment
- Export collection company: Zhejiang International Business Group Wuliu Co., Ltd. — holds the export contract and receives the foreign-currency payment
What else the sourcing and export information page publishes
- Trade terms: FOB Ningbo and FOB Shanghai as standard, with CIF, DAP, DDP and EXW quoted as well; both ports are available and the one in the booking is confirmed before the goods leave the factory
- Payment terms: advance T/T, or open account 30–60 day terms and 30–60 day terms for qualified customers, agreed per order and written into the quotation
- Samples: free of charge — no sample fee is invoiced and only the sample freight is passed on
- Tooling: three cases depending on whether the tool already exists; where Balford already holds the tool the charge is zero or material and labour only
- Exclusivity: an exclusive-manufacturing agreement rather than tool ownership, with liquidated damages of RMB 50,000 to RMB 2,000,000 per occurrence, or five times the tooling price with a minimum of USD 100,000 where the tool was bought outright
- Packaging: blister trays, zip bags, cartons and plywood or processed-wood cases, which the ISPM 15 standard exempts from the heat-treatment mark applied to solid-wood packaging
- Documents: commercial invoice, packing list, mill certificates (EN 10204 3.1 on request), inspection report, delivery note and batch traceability
Why the account details are published at all
Invoice-fraud e-mails that replace a supplier's bank details are common in China–Europe and China–US trade, and they work because the buyer has never seen the real account in writing. The page therefore states the beneficiary, the bank and the SWIFT code, and adds the rule that goes with them: Balford does not change bank account details by e-mail alone. If a message that appears to come from Balford gives a different account number, a different beneficiary or a personal account, the instruction is to stop and confirm on a channel that existed before the message arrived.
At a glance
Three names, three roles: Zhejiang Balford Mechatronics Co., Ltd. manufactures, Zhejiang Howsince International Logistics Co., Ltd. ships, and Zhejiang International Business Group Wuliu Co., Ltd. collects the payment. Bank details, trade terms and tooling rules are published on balford.net/export-information/ so a buyer can verify the account before the first payment.
