Materials catalogue — every grade we form, stamp and machine

Answer first: this page lists all 54 grades Balford works with by deep drawing, progressive stamping, precision stamping, sheet forming, machining or welding. Grades outside our process window are deliberately not listed, so nothing here is a paper capability.

Process fit: DD deep drawing · PS progressive die stamping · PR precision stamping / fine blanking · MC machining · TB tube bending · WD welding and brazing.

How to read the numbers: chemistry and mechanical values are standard minimums or typical ranges. Cold work, temper and heat treatment move them, and the mill certificate for the delivered lot governs. A dash means we have not confirmed a value — we do not publish an estimate.

What is deliberately not listed

Tool steels, cast iron, stainless grades we only braze, structural plate and plastics are outside our forming window, so they are not in this catalogue. If a grade you need is missing, it usually means we have not qualified it yet — ask and we will say so rather than quote it.
