Case Review
Stainless and copper tube coiled to drawing - helical coils with a controlled coil OD, pitch, turn count and end form, plus copper hairpin bends for condenser coils. Coil OD is set by the mandrel, pitch by the feed lead and coil length by the turn count, so coil OD, pitch, turn count and leg length are dimensional requirements rather than appearance requirements. Where the coil connects straight into an assembly, both tube ends are brought out square to the coil axis. Copper hairpin bends for condenser coils are supplied in the tube grade and wall named on the drawing.
