Case Review
Copper coils are used where heat transfer and conductivity matter, or where the line is brazed or flare-connected on site. The tube is wound on a mandrel to the coil OD on the drawing, then the legs are cut to length and kept straight and square to the coil axis, so the coil drops into its bracket or housing without being forced. Because copper is softer than stainless, coil diameter and wall are reviewed together to avoid collapse at the tightest turns. Supplied in the copper grade named on the drawing, including DHP / C12200 where specified, in helical or formed-leg configurations.
