Some components use more than one manufacturing method. A stamped or laser-cut blank may need final machining; a bent sheet metal part may continue through welding, coating and assembly; a formed tube may require cut features and fixtures. Balford reviews the complete deliverable so datums, tolerances, finish and inspection remain consistent across process handoffs.
For an efficient quotation, send the latest 2D drawing and 3D model, material specification, prototype and production quantities, finish, critical characteristics and assembly context. The team will identify the proposed route and any information that needs confirmation before production.
